This spectacular Sicilian wine represents the first 100% Nero d'Avola produced in Sicily, in 1824, in the estate of Suor Marchesa, in Riesi.
Ruby red in color with garnet reflections, the Duke Henry gives itself to the nose with a complex of ripe fruit, iris and spices.
A powerful, round red wine with good structure and personality with a sensation of well-blended wood as a whole. The high persistence makes it both an excellent meditation wine and the perfect companion to cheeses and red meats

NUMBERED BOTTLES
Elegant and complex white wine with a straw color with greenish reflections, produced from grapes grown on soil number 3 of the Suor Marchesa estate (Riesi).
On the nose the varietal notes blend with the notes of jasmine and white broom. The fruity scents are combined with very delicate spicy notes reminiscent of vanilla and pink pepper.
A full, structured and fresh white wine. Good confirmation of the notes perceived on the nose, with a long persistence on the palate.

Straw yellow in color with soft greenish reflections, Kados Grillo has an intense floral bouquet, slightly vanilla and complex. On the palate it is pleasantly broad and velvety, lively, with great structure and persistence.
With Kados, the Duke of Salaparuta offers his personal interpretation of the Grillo. A sapid, intense Sicilian white with characteristics of longevity, which however keeps the freshness intact.
To be paired with good fish dishes, noble crustaceans and tasty white meats.

It is very pleasant, and thanks to a slightly fruity flavor it is able to immediately express the aromas and flavors of the area, thanks to a bouquet rich in yellow fruit, aromatic herbs and orange blossom.
On the palate it is soft, fruity and intense.
In this wine there is the story of King Ferdinand IV of Bourbon and of the Real Casina di Caccia di Ficuzza. Here, in the 1800s, the sovereign kept his own wine, produced with grapes from the vineyards located around the Ficuzza estate.
