A blend of sicilian red grapes that grows in the hills of Monreale, in the marvelous Tenuta Presti and Pagni di Cusumano.
It is a very intense and fruity red, which is vinified in steel and aged in large oak barrels.
On the nose you can smell black cherries, berries and sweet spices, on the other hand the taste is velvety, fresh and enveloping.
75cl bottle
To the eye, this red wine is ruby red crossed by a few more purplish flashes. The scent is deep, towards the most intense fruity notes, enriched by a background of sweet spices.
The taste is very soft, fresh and harmonious, characterized by a very fresh sip.
In this bottle, the Cusumano winery has decided to combine an international variety, such as Syrah, and a typically Sicilian one, resulting in a very full-bodied and structured bottle, but also very elegant.
The vines are grown on the Presti and Pagni Estate, in Monreale, at about 250 meters above sea level.
The grapes are cold macerated in the must at 7°C, and then fermented in steel. After which the refinement is carried out for 6 months in steel, and for 20% of the total wine, for 2 months in oak barrels.
