Grappa Ben Ryè is obtained from the pomace of zibibbo grapes used for the production of Ben Ryé and grown on the island of Pantelleria, in south-western Sicily.
The marcs, extraordinarily rich in flavors and olfactory uniqueness, are subjected to distillation in a discontinuous bain-marie still and thanks to the slowness and delicacy of this process, all primary aromas are preserved unaltered in an absolutely authentic way.
After a long aging in small carats, it is of ancient gold color and extremely clear; the tasting results in a pronounced not excessive sweetness.
Pleasant is the characteristic citrus note that opens into a thousand facets of fresh and candied fruit (cedar, peach, apricot and exotic fruit) that blend with a delicate vanilla scent.
Soft and aromatic, it is ideal with fruit and dry pastries but also with seasoned and spicy cheeses.

Description after a long ageing period in small barrels, the grappa has an antique gold hue and is extremely clear; it is distinctly but not excessively sweet on the palate. The bouquet initially delivers typical citrus notes, followed by a superb aromatic array of fresh and candied fruit (citron, peach, apricot and exotic fruit) blended with a subtle aroma of vanilla.
Serving suggestions the perfect accompaniment to dried fruit, plain pastries and biscuits; try it with mature and strong cheeses, sipping slowly.
Best served in small tulip glasses with flared rims at 12-16°C.
