ORGANIC DRIED TOMATO CAPULIATO RED PESTO
The Sicilian capuliato is a unique recipe, which has been preserved in the tradition of the families of southern and eastern Sicily. Widely used especially in the provinces of Ragusa, Catania and Syracuse, it is appreciated for its intense flavor in which, in addition to dried tomatoes, the notes of Sicilian caper and oregano are enhanced.
This dried tomato pesto is called capuliato due to the typical appearance of coarsely chopped dried tomatoes with the other ingredients, it becomes a capuliate tomato.
