Aubergines in oil, a classic of traditional Sicilian preserves, are made following a simple recipe: seasonal vegetables and quality ingredients, to ensure freshness and taste, to be savored every time of the year.
The aubergines, coming from the Nebrodi areas, are cut into chunks or strips, preserved in oil, and seasoned with sweet peppers flavored with vinegar, mint, garlic and chilli.
Directions for use:
Aubergines in oil are delicious to eat as they are, in a rich aperitif accompanied by cold cuts, cheeses and a good homemade bread.
Gocce di Sicilia advises you to enrich your appetizer, combining them with dried tomatoes and a good glass of wine!
Finally, try them to enrich a ham sandwich, you won't regret it!
