These Nero d'Avola grapes stand out from all the others for their aromas, which can be felt immediately in the glass, and for their maturation, which is never too excessive.
It is a full-bodied wine, with good aromatic intensity given to it by the type of processing, i.e. by the passage in different oak barriques of various years.

The Passivento method is the method that involves the partial drying of the grapes directly in the vineyard, which is then completed in the fruit room, where the skilful control of ventilation helps the grapes to reach the ideal level of dehydration before pressing.
The wine then ages for a period in steel and for another 12 months in wooden barriques.
This Sicilian Riserva red wine comes from a blend of Nero d'Avola and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, resulting in a fruity and intense red wine, which excellently accompanies important dishes with strong flavours, such as game, stews and mature cheeses.

This Sicilian wine is a modern interpretation of an ancient native grape variety: Frappato.
Its grapes grow in the Firriato winery, on the Baglio Soria estate, and are predominantly dark and purple grapes, which give the wine a fruity hint of peel and seeds.
It is in fact a wine that expresses itself through a fruity bouquet, with some hints of spices, black pepper, liquorice and cloves.
On the palate it is broad, complex and enveloping with notes of blood orange.
