C'D'C' Rosé – Nero d’Avola Sicilia DOC

C'D'C' Rosato is made from 100% Nero d’Avola grapes grown on the Baglio del Cristo di Campobello estate: a fine, elegant rosé, fresh and savoury.

Territory and winemaking

The vineyards lie on hillside soils between 230 and 260 metres above sea level. Grapes are hand-picked; after soft pressing they macerate on the skins for about 3 hours, then the must is separated and settled by cold decantation. The wine ages on the fine lees in stainless steel for about 4 months and for a further 2 months in bottle.

Tasting profile

In the glass it shows a soft pink colour; the nose offers a bouquet of wild strawberries, mineral tones and hints of rose. On the palate it is pleasantly fresh, with a delicate savoury vein, finishing with hints of aromatic herbs.
