GRILLO DOC 2018 - "SOLE E TERRA" SICILY DOC

ORGANIC WINE

Grillo is a native white grape variety that has the distinction of having a much higher sugar content than other white grapes and the vocation, unusual for a white wine, of being particularly predisposed to aging.

Our Grillo shows a straw white color with sage green reflections. On the nose the bouquet is fresh with notes of citrus flowers, while on the palate it is quite savory and mineral, with a return of citrus notes, combined with a pleasant freshness.

To combine with fish first courses, mixed fried food, gourmet sandwiches.

Recommended together with vegetarian dishes.

YIELD PER HECTARE: 8500 kg

VINIFICATION: in white with 10% fermentation in barriques, the remaining percentage in steel and after blending; batonnage for about 20 days
