Blend of Chardonnay and Inzolia, VIVO is a classic method sparkling wine that is not disgorged, for this reason it is slightly opaque in the glass. It is advisable to serve it strictly at 0 °C, because at higher temperatures there is a risk that the cork will jump.
On the nose hints of Mediterranean scrub: sage, thyme and rosemary; in the mouth it is full, rich and creamy, a spicy finish, based on licorice and broom flower, excellent flavor and persistence, with an authentic and sagacious bittering finish.
Notes of "VIVO"
- Intense golden yellow, with a flavored scent of thyme, sage and rosemary, turns to intermediate floral notes that leave on the finish, the flavor of almond paste and marzipan. Its taste is full-bodied and exuberant. “VIVO” is the bottle of Uovo di Cuttlefish “white” and it is “VIVO” in name and in fact! The onomatopoeia of the name gives credit to the first work of which it is enriched and embellished, the mastery of the two-star chef Pino Cuttaia, the genius of the restaurant "La Madia" in Licata. Three quarters of Chardonnay and a quarter of Inzolia from the vines of the Milazzo farm, to give life to the production of "VIVO", the six-atmosphere wine which, lacking the processing phase of the classic method called "disgorgement", remains rich, sumptuous, fluid. The glass is invaded by lively bubbles which show its persistence. "VIVO" is a bold wine that recalls the meaning of "VIVO" in Sicilian dialect, to say "I drink" and crystallize the traditional family conviviality, typical of the land of Sicily.
