Fumu Bianco Etna DOC is produced mainly with Carricante grapes, one of the most representative native vines of eastern Sicily. Carricante is known for its ability to adapt perfectly to the characteristics of volcanic soil, developing an aromatic complexity that makes this white wine particularly appreciated by connoisseurs.

Fumu Bianco Etna DOC stands out for its extraordinary balance between aromas and flavors, offering a true explosion of sensations on the palate.

GRAPE VARIETY: Carricante

AREA OF ORIGIN ETNA, northern slope in the municipality of Castiglione di Sicilia.

HARVEST: The grapes are harvested by hand in the first half of October.

FERMENTATION: The grapes are harvested manually in small crates and quickly taken to the cellar and selected manually on a belt, to be softly pressed. The must obtained is clarified in the cold and left to ferment at a temperature of 15-16 ° C. Once fermentation is complete, the resulting wine rests on the fine lees for about three months. It then ages for 3 to 6 months in steel and cement tanks before bottling.
