Soleggiato is a more unique than rare perpetual wine. It is produced through exposure to the sun of Moscato Bianco grapes that grow in the wonderful Marabino vineyards in Val Di Noto.
Its production defies every oenological rule, in fact, after the fermentation of the sun-dried grapes, this wine is transferred to steel tanks containing perpetual wines from other harvests. After this processing it is exposed to the sun in Demigiane for about a year, and finally it is bottled.
A very long process from which this perpetual Sicilian wine is born which stands out from the others because it is not the usual sweet wine at the end of a meal, but indeed, thanks to its freshness, it is an aperitif or meal wine, where the Moscato, which gains complexity thanks to the oxidative process.
A soft and enveloping wine, with a good fruity aroma and delicate spicy notes.
Excellent at the table with red meats and well-aged cheeses.
