ATIS BOLGHERI DOC SUPERIOR 2018 - FORD TO THE APPLE TREE

Atis best expresses the greatness of the Bolgheri area, and tells it with all its authenticity, demonstrating how the production philosophy of the Guado al Melo winery follows the natural life cycle of the vines and combines it with a very special craftsmanship .

This wine comes from three international vines, Cabernet Sauvignon (80%), Cabernet Franc and Merlot.

The vines grow in selected parcels particularly within the Campo Grande and Campo Ferro vineyards, on soils of alluvial origin.

Here, thanks to the wind that refreshes the typically Mediterranean climate, a process is followed that follows the principles of sustainable agriculture.

After being vinified, the wine is transferred to 10% new oak barriques, where it remains for 24 months.

The color is typically ruby ​​red. While the smell is elegant, complex and rich in a thousand facets, first fruity, then balsamic, which towards the end meet more balsamic tones.

On the palate, however, it is very intense, soft and persistent, with a concentrated structure that lengthens the finish.
