Where to buy Fiasconaro panettone online: flavours, new arrivals and Christmas 2026 sizes

How to choose a Fiasconaro panettone

Based in Castelbuono, in Sicily’s Madonie mountains, Fiasconaro is known for naturally leavened panettone, classic recipes and Sicilian ingredients. A useful way to choose is to ask three questions: who is the gift for, what flavours do they enjoy, and how important is the presentation or size?

The classics: Traditional, Pandorato and Almond

Start with these if you are buying for someone who enjoys familiar flavours. Traditional combines candied orange peel and raisins; Pandorato avoids raisins and candied fruit, with a sweet glaze; the Almond panettone adds a crisp nutty topping.

Citrus, fruit and chocolate: more adventurous flavours

For a more distinctive taste, try Citrus and Saffron, where Sicilian citrus fruit meets a delicate spice note, or Pear and Chocolate, pairing Williams pears with chocolate pieces. Other fruit-and-spice recipes, including apple and cinnamon, broaden the choice further.

Pistachio and gift lines: Oro Verde, Nero Sublime, Oro di Manna

For a more elaborate gift, check what comes inside the box. Oro Verde pairs pistachio panettone with a separate jar of pistachio cream; Nero Sublime combines Sicilian chocolate and wild strawberries; Oro di Manna highlights a distinctive ingredient from the Madonie mountains. On certain gift lines, the stated weight includes both cake and cream, so compare the product details carefully.

Meet Ypsigrò: the new Mango and Passion Fruit panettone

The Ypsigrò range takes its name from an old name for Castelbuono and explores bolder combinations while preserving the structure of naturally leavened panettone. A highlight for Christmas 2026 is the Ypsigrò Mango and Passion Fruit 750 g: candied mango meets white chocolate flavoured with passion fruit, presented in an illustrated Ypsigrò box. It is particularly appealing for those who enjoy fruit-led flavours beyond the traditional recipes.

Mango and Passion Fruit is the standout newer recipe, while Mulberry and Milk Chocolate illustrates the range’s breadth. The individual pages also show the distinctive illustrated packaging.

Fiasconaro Maximus: giant panettone in 3, 5 and 10 kg sizes

Maximus deserves its own spotlight. Sharing a giant panettone creates a very different experience from serving a standard one-kilo cake. These large traditional recipes feature candied orange and raisins flavoured with Marsala and Zibibbo, presented in a decorative fabric bag. They are suited to larger family gatherings, festive tables, events and statement corporate gifts.

Which Maximus should you choose? Consider the number of guests, how you plan to serve it and the kind of impression you want to make. Avoid rigid portion estimates: slice size varies. For time-sensitive occasions, check delivery arrangements with the shop before placing the order.

Sizes and prices: how to compare fairly

Fiasconaro offers small tasting sizes, panettone for family tables, gift boxes with creams, and the much larger Maximus editions. When comparing prices, look at the net cake weight, any jar of cream included, and the packaging — not just the figure shown next to the product.

Individual product pages display current prices and purchasing conditions. To browse the same brand across the panettone category, start with the Fiasconaro brand filter.
