Ypsigro – from the Byzantine Greek “cool place” – is the ancient name by which the village of Castelbuono was known. A name that speaks of identity, of a bond with the territory and of continuity. This is where the inspiration for Ypsigro 2025 comes from,
the new limited edition line by Fiasconaro: a project that tells the story of the pioneering and visionary spirit of the Castelbuonese community.

This is where the inspiration for Ypsigro 2025 comes from, the new limited edition line by Fiasconaro: a project that tells the story of the pioneering and visionary spirit of the Castelbuonese community. A tribute to the courage to innovate and dare while remaining faithful to one’s identity. The concept of the line, accompanied by the pay-off “Bold by tradition”, was interpreted for the 2025 edition by the Castelbuonese artist Stefania Cordone, who was able to translate the creative character of the local community into illustrations. Her drawings, suspended between memory and imagination, transform the packaging into an imaginative visual narrative that enhances the identity of the territory.

Ypsigro, however, is a project in constant evolution: starting from the 2026 edition, Fiasconaro will open its doors to emerging talents, involving the Academies of Fine Arts in an annual contest.
Every year, a young illustrator will have the opportunity to reinterpret the concept of the collection, giving life to new artistic visions and telling, with their own distinctive style, the enterprising spirit of Castelbuono. A celebration of tradition that wants to look to the future without rhetoric, a tribute to art and design, and as always the valorization of the authentic flavors of our land.
