Expertly selected and processed by hand, the fillets are kept firm and compact to be enjoyed on your tables, as a unique ingredient in traditional dishes but also in fresh and quick summer recipes.
Recommendations for use:
Our tuna fillets are excellent to be enjoyed as an appetizer paired with Sicilian caponata, in mixed salads and pasta salads, or in the classic dish of Mediterranean cuisine: spaghetti with tuna! Here's how we prepare them at Gocce di Sicilia:
Brown a clove of garlic in a pan with olive oil (it's fine to use the one in the jar!), Add the spaghetti al dente and the drained and coarsely chopped tuna. Season with a pinch of pepper and a handful of bread crumbs previously toasted in a pan with a drizzle of oil. And finally, to give a touch of color to the dish, decorate with a little chopped fresh parsley.
Once opened, keep refrigerated and use within 3 days.
