

Donna Franca is a blend of Marsala aged from 15 to 30 years in oak barrels. Cantina Florio has always been synonymous with great Marsalas.
Thanks to time and care, this blend lights up with a particular topaz color, accompanied by some amber reflections.
On the palate it is rich in hints of spices, candied fruit, caramel and bitter almond.

At sight it presents a topaz color accompanied by intense amber reflections.
It opens with an intense and complex bouquet, where there are hints of apricot in syrup and dates accompanied by spicy notes.
On the palate it is full, warm, velvety with a vanilla base. The hints of spices and candied fruit stand out very well, with caramel and bitter almond in the finish.

VINIFICATION: Pressing of grapes with a high sugar content and contact with the skins for approximately 12 hours. Firm pressing of the crushed grapes to pass the precious substances contained in the skins into the must. Slow fermentation and, in spring, preparation of the tanning by adding mistella, cooked must and wine distillate to the wine obtained.
