Sicilian almond pastries with toasted almond flakes, available online
Gocce di Sicilia almond pastries with crunchy almond flakes are one of the classic biscuit variations made from almond paste.
Each one is a soft, round almond biscuit completely covered in crunchy flakes of toasted Sicilian almonds.
Like all the other almond paste sweets sold on Gocce di Sicilia, these biscuits are made using only natural ingredients in Capo d'Orlando, in the artisan workshop of Pasticceria Giulio.
Enjoy them in the afternoon with a cup of tea, or with coffee.
Ingredients: sugar, toasted almond (43.42%) [toasted and refined ALMONDS, flavourings], whole hen's EGGS, vanillin, ALMOND FLAKES.
