Exito Marsala Vergine Riserva DOC, a large Marsala Vergine DOC Reserve since 1982

Exito is a Marsala Vergine Riserva DOC from 1982, and its name comes from Spanish, in fact "exito" in Spanish means "success", and just as its name indicates this Marsala Vergine Riserva is a triumph of Marsala that lives over time, without being in any hurry.

It is a Marsala for after a meal, to be tasted without haste to fully enjoy its flavors and aromas, both strong and very persistent.

Exito Marsala Vergine has been resting in the Martinez Cellars since 1982. Before being bottled, it rested in small oak barrels for 36 years.

Finally, this Marsala has a further characteristic, unlike the entire Marsala Martinez range, it is not bottled in the traditional dark bottle, but is bottled in a transparent glass bottle which enhances its wonderful gold colour.

VARIETY: Grillo

ALCOHOL CONTENT: 19% vol

SUGAR RESIDUE: <1%

VINIFICATION: Manual harvesting of well-ripe grapes with a high sugar content, traditional pressing, fermentation at a controlled temperature and preparation of the tanning with the addition of only alcohol to the wine obtained.

AGING: Since 1982 in small oak barrels.

REFINEMENT: Refinement in steel containers for approximately 3 months.

DURABILITY: If stored away from sources of light and heat, it can be stored without time limits, continuing to acquire character over time.

STORAGE METHOD: Once the bottle has been opened, if closed with its mushroom cap and stored in a dry place, away from sources of light and heat, it keeps well for several months.
