A fresh, elegant and lively wine that presents itself to the eye with the classic straw yellow color.
On the nose it presents notes of tropical fruit, white fruit, apples and citrus fruits mixed with hints of rose flowers, acacia and elderberry. On the finish there are also delicate, balsamic and mineral notes.
On the palate it is intense, with a good balance between acidity, softness and flavor, which makes it very creamy in the mouth.
It pairs perfectly with shellfish, foie gras, fresh cheeses and first courses.
Since the beginning of the 80s, Salvatore Di Gaetano's oenological passion has been attracted to a particular place, the Firriato district, in the extraordinary countryside of the city of Trapani, an agricultural territory profoundly marked by the cultivation of vines and the culture of wine, located between the beautiful sea of the Trapani coast and the majestic fortress of the ancient city of Erice.
Behind a great wine there is always a great viticultural territory with characteristic soil and climate conditions. All Firriato agricultural estates have a particularity, in terms of exposure, microclimate, soil composition and ventilation. From east to west, we move from mountain viticulture on the Etna volcano, to that of the sea of the Egadi islands on the island of Favignana, passing through the exclusive contexts of the Trapani countryside. The company's philosophy places at the center of everything: method, territory, pride and ironclad love. To present the excellence of Sicily and Sicilian wines to the world.
Firriato's constant research for the valorization of native vines and the peculiarities that derive from them depending on the different breeding terroirs is fully expressed in Charme Bianco. In the lively perlage of this wine, the native white grape varieties coexist in constant pleasure, giving their most intense aromas. The grapes are authentic witnesses of the terroir of origin, suited to viticulture for millennia. In this corner of Sicily, in the Borgo Guarini Estate, some elements essential to their qualities play a fundamental role. The exposure to the constant winds coming from the Mediterranean sea, the clayey soils and the orographic variability combine to determine the uniqueness of the Sicilian white grapes from which the Charme Bianco blend is born. The aromas are more intense, the scents more refined for a wine that combines viticultural tradition and the intensity of pleasure.
