Vigna San Francesco is made from Chardonnay grapes from Tenuta Regaleali, the most historic estate of the Tasca d'Almerita winery.
It is a very full-bodied wine that has a good aromatic intensity.
It has boasted many and varied awards over the years, since its birth in 1959, from Gold Medals at the World Competition in Brussels to Three Glasses from Gambero Rosso, to various Crowns of Vinibuoni d'Italia. This vintage in particular boasts very high ratings from James Suckling, Dottor Wine, I vini di Veronelli and The Winehunter.

HISTORY
Vigna San Francesco was born in 1985 from an idea by Lucio Tasca d'Almerita, who decided to compare himself with the most celebrated white grape variety in the world: Chardonnay.
It is a Sicilian white wine with great historicity, which comes from pure Chardonnay grapes.
A very full-bodied wine, with a good aromatic intensity.
One of its strong points are the soils and the hilly position where it is born: the Vigna San Francesco. Located at an average altitude of 530 meters above sea level, it has allowed us to preserve a high degree of acidity thanks to the high temperature range characteristic of the estate.
PRIZES
It is a bottle which, like almost all the wines of the Tasca d'Almerita winery, boasts many and varied awards, including several Gold Medals at the China Wine Challenge, various Crowns from Good Wines of Italy, 3 glasses of Gambero Rosso, always very high marks from the various James Suckling, Doctor Wine, Robert Parker, The Winehunter.
