This is a Sicilian wine that comes from Nero d'Avola grapes, the native vine symbol of Sicilian viticulture.
It was born on the Dagala Borromeo estate, in Trapani, where Firriato adopts the "spontaneous grassing" technique, that is, he limits himself only to mowing the spontaneous grass that grows in the vineyard, to obtain high quality grapes and fight at the same time the erosive effects of the soil.
It presents itself to the eye with a very intense and brilliant red color, presenting a bouquet rich in fruits and spices such as plums, blackberries, cherries, blueberries, cloves, black pepper, liquorice, dark chocolate and hummus.
On the palate it is very soft and seductive, with an excellent balance between tannins and acidity. He has a strong personality and an intense expressive component.
