Our bacon is prepared from an artisan salami factory perched on the Nebrodi Mountains and stands out for its taste, its softness and its "melt-in-the-mouth"!
Pancetta is a very tasty pork salami that can be enjoyed but also used in cooking, from appetizers to first courses and second courses or sautéed meats. Pancetta is a variety whose name derives from the fact that the piece of meat from which it is made, or the lean part of the pig's belly with rind, is expertly salted and flavored and then made to mature in its original form, a difference of classic bacon that is rolled up in a circular shape.
At the sight it presents a red and white pinkish layer, the texture is soft and melts in the mouth thanks to the presence of a good part of fat which also gives a sweet, flavored but delicate taste. The pancetta is served on a vacuum-packed slice of about 300-350 grams.
Recommendations for use:
Pancetta accompanies great honey and cheese, to be cut into chunks or sliced for your appetizer cutting boards.
It is also excellent for flavoring sautéed meats, for wrapping white meats or as a main ingredient in carbonara pasta.
