A Traditional Sicilian Easter Colomba created in an artisanal way by the Sicilian Pastry Shop Bonfissuto, one of the most famous Sicilian Pastries located in Canicattì, in the province of Agrigento.
To make it special we can find delicious candied Sicilian Oranges inside. And on top it is covered with sugar and almonds.

This soft Colomba is the most classic of the Traditional Colombas, handmade by the historic Sicilian Pastry Shop Bonfissuto and features sweet candied oranges inside.
What makes everything even richer and tastier is the classic external icing with sprinkles and whole almonds.
The dough for this Easter Colomba is very soft, worked by hand and left to rise slowly.
Ingredients: type 0 wheat flour, free-range egg yolk, butter, liquid butter, sugar, honey, fructose, natural mother yeast, monotriglycerides of fatty acids, salt, natural Madagascar vanilla flavouring, natural flavours, orange Sicilian candied fruit
OUTER ICING: sugar, corn flour, glucose syrup, egg white, milk proteins: lactose, flavourings, whole almond.
May contain traces of peanuts, pistachios, almonds, hazelnuts and mustard.
