Marsala Fine DOC is a dessert wine born in the Martinez cellars, in Marsala, specialized in the production of sweet Marsala wines.
This Marsala Fine DOC is the youngest of the Marsala wine family, and is therefore excellent for use in the kitchen, as an ingredient in both sweet and savory dishes to give a unique and traditional aroma.
As indicated in the "production specification" this Marsala Fine ages for only 1 year in oak barrels.

It is a very young wine, aged for a year in oak barrels, which is excellent for use in the kitchen to enrich both sweet and savory dishes.
At sight it presents a fairly bright amber color. While the scent is the classic Marsala one, very intense, sweet and fragrant.
On the palate it is medium-bodied, fine and delicate.
In the kitchen it can be used to flavor dishes and make them even tastier such as: Risotto with Marsala, or Scaloppine with Marsala, or to flavor desserts such as zabaglione, or even ice cream.

VINIFICATION: Manual harvesting of well-ripe grapes with a high sugar content, soft pressing, controlled temperature fermentation and preparation of tanning with the addition of mistella, cooked must and alcohol to the wine obtained.
AGING: Over a year in oak barrels of different sizes.
AGING: In steel for approximately 3 months.
DURATION: If kept away from sources of light and heat, it can be preserved without time limits, continuing to acquire character over time.
STORAGE METHOD: Once the bottle has been opened, if closed with its mushroom cap and stored in a dry place, away from sources of light and heat, it keeps well for several months.
