Tax includedFrom the red and sandy lands of the Sicilian hinterland, where the vines have firm roots, comes Florio's Marsala SR1713, aged from 24 November 2020 in the 4SBG oak barrel, starting from the Garibaldi winery at about 160 meters above sea level, always arriving closer to the coast.
The closer the barrels get to the sea, the more the temperature decreases and the environment becomes full of humidity and salinity, giving the Marsala saline flavors.
Extreme, difficult, listening enology, deep and secret intimacy with the winery and a long journey are what give it a story to tell to those who come, even after many decades.
An oenology of profound intimacy with the cellars is what creates the liquid art of Marsala. The ancestral ability to do, to grasp the time of grape ripening, the time of pressing, the time of sur lie, the time of falling in love, the time of evolution in oak wood, listened to by the beating heart of Winemaker, they give voice to Marsala.
Visceral art, exercised every day out of love and with love, made of delicacy, intelligence and sometimes brutality, with the awareness of creating something that in many years will tell the story of this winery, to those who will drink a Marsala Florio.
Amber in color with red reflections, this Sicilian Marsala gives aromas of vanilla beans and leather, while the palate lights up with sweet natural richness.
Perfect as a meditation wine, try it also with Gorgonzola.

Fermentations in cement, punctuated by continuous micro-oxygenations, which continue even in post fermentation, preparing the wine for the encounter with alcohol, to begin the first "capable of giving DOC Marsala"
IN LOVE: A meeting between wine, siphon (grape must capable of giving mutized Marsala DOC - that is, fermentation has been blocked - added ethyl alcohol of viticultural origin), cooked must and a small percentage of alcohol
