Tax includedThis organic red wine comes from grapes that grow in the hinterland of the Marsala area, a large wine area.
Its grapes are 100% Nero d'Avola, and are harvested when ripe, towards the end of September, beginning of October, and are processed immediately after harvesting, to ensure that all the characteristics of the fruit are kept intact. They undergo very delicate pressing and ferment in contact with the skins for about 10 days, always at a controlled temperature. Finally they undergo malolactic fermentation in steel.
The refinement takes place in the bottle and takes place for approximately 6 months before the wine is put on the market.
Like any self-respecting Nero d'Avola, this bottle also has a very bright ruby red color, with some purple notes.
On the nose it presents an intriguing and enveloping bouquet, where notes of black cherry, cherries, strawberries and aromatic herbs can be felt.
On the palate it is quite structured, full, savory and enveloping, with pleasant and silky tannins that accompany a long and persistent finish enriched by spicy notes.
Thanks to its rich taste it is excellent for accompanying aperitifs based on cured meats and mature cheeses, it is also ideal for first and second courses with a strong flavor such as ragù, game, meatloaf.
