Tax includedThe olives, Nocellara Etnea variety coming from olive groves on the slopes of Etna, are harvested by hand in the period from mid-September to late October. Worked on the day of harvesting, the salting and fermentation phase begins immediately. After a period of "maturation in brine", they are selected, desalted and seasoned according to different traditional recipes, in various treats to whet and capture the most demanding palates.
In this variety of olives salt, sunflower oil, parsley, oregano, chilli pepper and garlic are used to give these olives that touch of slightly spicy flavor that distinguishes them from all the others
This type of olives are perfect to serve as an appetizer or to accompany delicious apetizer, try them with meats and cheeses and with our chillies.
Also interesting as ingredients for main courses, Gocce di Sicilia recommends using them in your fish dishes or to flavor sweet and sour meatballs!
Store away from heat sources, if the bag is still vacuum-packed it does not need to be placed in the fridge and can be kept for at least 12 months. Once opened, they can be stored in the fridge for up to 7 days.
