Nestled among the vineyards of Valpolicella, the Quintarelli Winery represents the "History" of Amarone and the fine red wines that have made this hilly area near Verona famous. The story says that from a Recioto barrel "forgotten" for years in the cellar, thus carrying out all the residual sugars, the famous red wine, symbol, together with Valpolicella, of Veronese winemaking excellence was born.

Like all “grown-ups”, who need no introduction, the Quintarelli family carries on over time the noble work of their grandparents Giuseppe “Bepi” and Franca with dedication and almost mystical reserve. In fact, there is hardly any indication to reach the winery, nor a company website, as if to protect an intimate and still magically familiar dimension.

Surrounded by a valley where the property rows extend, the Cantina, renovated in 2014, is a small design jewel. Housed inside the manor house, where all the transformation steps of the grapes into excellent wines take place, the Cellar is an exciting journey through the history of the Quintarelli family.

It was in the 1960s that grandfather Giuseppe, formerly a wine producer in demijohn, gave a change to the business by starting a niche production of bottled wines kept from the best bunches and receiving the first international awards.
