Biondi Santi Brunello di Montalcino Riserva 2012 DOCG red wine - Tenuta Il Greppo

The 2012 Riserva, the last vintage signed by Franco Biondi-Santi, was produced with the Sangiovese Grosso BBS11 (Brunello Biondi Santi 11) clone, identified and selected by Biondi-Santi at Tenuta Greppo in the seventies. For this Reserve, grapes originating exclusively from the oldest vines with over 25 years of age were used.

The result is a surprising wine for its freshness and aromatic complexity, personality, stylistic consistency and taste finesse.

This vintage in particular boasts very high ratings from James Suckling, Dottor Wine, I vini di Veronelli and The Winehunter.
