This Sicilian red wine takes its name from the Contrada in which the cellar where it was born is located, the Contrada Rampante.
This is where Tenuta Tascante was born, where the Nerello Mascalese plants, thanks to favorable sun exposure, are highly robust.
The vinification of these red wines takes place in steel, while the refinement takes place in Slavonian oak barrels.
On the nose this wine presents some timid notes of fruit which give way to more earthy, very well accentuated notes of undergrowth.
On the palate it is very rich, full-bodied and tasty, with very intense tannins. The almost caloric sensation on the finish is pleasant.
