Terre Tardive 2017, the new Milazzo experience, in its first vintage. Innovative and unconventional both in the vine growing technique and in the winemaking one. A wine that wants to be above all an expression of the territory in which it was produced.
Blend of Chardonnay and Inzolia, the wine acquires even more valuable quality characteristics given by the late harvest, which provides that the bunches are left on the tree beyond their biological ripening and therefore the drying of the grapes directly on the branches, making so that the sugars are concentrated inside the fruit making it a sweet wine, less acidic and with a more intense flavor. The late harvest gives much more complex and interesting nuances and sensations.
Beautiful straw yellow color with barely perceptible amber reflections, to highlight a modern style that wants to preserve the aromatic integrity of the grapes, deliberately limiting oxidative expressions. It is broad and rich on the nose with evident tropical notes: ripe pineapple, papaya, mango and candied orange. Well balanced notes of hay, peppermint and nettle. Structured, round and fresh in the mouth. Persistent and fragrant, it is supported by a pleasant acidity.
Bottle of 500ml.

This unconventional, intriguing and sophisticated wine is the result of the research path developed around our signature blend: Inzolia / Chardonnay (born in 1991 with Maria Costanza Bianco), to discover ever new interpretations.
In this process we wanted to keep two elements together: to show the innovative character, in the sign of the search for quality, of the cultivation techniques used in the vineyard and to experiment with new ways in interpreting both the blend and the winemaking method, a sign of a profound knowledge of one's terroir.
CULTIVATION METHOD
Plant thinning was carried out on both varieties.
In the vicinity of full physiological maturation, the branches were cut to reach, thanks to a partial dehydration, a concentration of sugars and to interrupt maturation at the same time. This technique has also allowed us to preserve the particularly delicate aromatic component, thus guaranteeing a fine and elegant olfactory profile and an extraordinary drinkability.
