Targa Florio Marsala Superiore Riserva Semi-dry from Grillo grapes
Marsala Targa comes from a careful selection of Grillo grapes and ages for seven years in Slavonian oak barrels to express an exceptional product, warm and soft like velvet, with an elegant aftertaste of dried fruit.
With a bright amber color with topaz reflections, it is pronounced on the nose with distinct hints of dates, apricot and stewed plums
Perfect meditation and dessert wine but surprising served cold as an aperitif in combination with unexpected raw materials, such as avocado and blue cheeses.
For this marsala, which re-proposes the characteristics of the historic Riserva Florio of 1840, the selection of the most suitable grapes begins immediately after the harvest and is determined by the search for that richness that will allow the marsala to refine for a long time.
At least 7 years in oak barrels with a capacity of 1,800 liters and then for over a year in ancient 300-liter barrels. A unique processing method and aging capacity, which make Marsala a decidedly out of class product.
