"Core is the name of the cru from which the grapes come. The name originates from a vineyard that has always been called Core by the local farmers. In Sicilian, "core" means heart. In fact, the vineyard seen from above has the shape of a big heart."
This red wine is a Certified Organic wine with a very territorial character, which gives off notes of plum, spices and red fruits with hints of cocoa and licorice.
The color is ruby red with light purplish reflections and the taste is very fresh, soft and round, with typical tannins.
Format: 75 cl
A blend of Syrah and Nero d'Avola that grows in the hills of Monreale, in the marvelous Tenuta Presti and Pagni di Cusumano.
It is a very intense and fruity red, which is vinified in steel and aged in large oak barrels.
On the nose you can smell black cherries, berries and sweet spices, on the other hand the taste is velvety, fresh and enveloping.
75cl bottle
This red takes its name from the district in which it was born: the Contrada Guardiola.
A district that was born at the foot of Etna and which has kept Nerello Mascalese vines for generations, bringing with it the historical memory of a unique territory in the world.
The bottles produced are very few, and therefore very rare, the result of vines over 150 years old.
Thanks to time and its substance, it is a red capable of satisfying even the most demanding palates.
Red Wine Timperosse 2014 - Mandrarossa
Petit verdot wine
"Vrucara is the name of the cru from which the grapes come. The name originates from a vineyard whose land has always been called "Vrucara". It takes this name because the vruca is widely present, in Sicilian it is the name of a bush that spontaneously grows around the vineyard. This herb with a mentholated scent mixed with incense oil. "Transferred" into the ancient vine plants, unique, characteristics that we find later in the wine."
The Vrucara is the label that is a bit the symbol of this winery, which comes from old prephyloxxera vines.
Format: 75 cl
Disueri is a Nero d'Avola that was born in the San Giacomo Estate, in Butera, near Caltanissetta.
This estate is very special for its colour, a white color "like snow and Sicilian nougat", only Nero d'Avola grapes grow here.
In the glass this wine has a ruby red color with some violet reflections, with a bouquet of blueberries and black cherries.
The sip is well structured with a fruity persistence.
A pure Nerello Mascalese, grown in the districts of Verzella, Feudo di Mezzo, Guardiola and Solicchiata in Castiglione di Sicilia, on the slopes of Etna.
A very elegant red wine, both in appearance and in flavour.
The Alta Mora label is a high-level label that was born on the volcanic soils of Etna, and which was acquired by the brothers Diego and Alberto Cusumano in 2013.
