"Core is the name of the cru from which the grapes come. The name originates from a vineyard that has always been called Core by the local farmers. In Sicilian, "core" means heart. In fact, the vineyard seen from above has the shape of a big heart."
This red wine is a Certified Organic wine with a very territorial character, which gives off notes of plum, spices and red fruits with hints of cocoa and licorice.
The color is ruby red with light purplish reflections and the taste is very fresh, soft and round, with typical tannins.

Tax includedThis Perricone "Del Core" is a fairly structured wine with a great personality that embodies all the flavors of the area.
It is produced following the principles of organic farming that distinguish the company.
This red wine is produced with only hand-picked grapes from the "Core" vineyard, a native vineyard at 500 meters above sea level where there are vines that are about 40 years old.
After the manual harvesting of the grapes, the alcoholic fermentation takes place in concrete tanks. The fermentation lasts about 8 months, and after bottling there is a further rest in the bottle.
This wine is characterized by a ruby red color with violet hues and on the nose there are hints of plum, blueberry, black pepper and Mediterranean herbs, followed by hints of cocoa and licorice.
On the palate it is soft and round, accompanied by a good freshness, with light tannins, typical of this vine.
This red is excellent to combine with platters of cured meats and aged cheeses or with meat main courses.
