TORRIONE 2020, RED WINE FROM THE PETROLO WINERY

A bottle that tells the authenticity of the territory where it comes from, the beautiful Tuscany.

This Torrione signed Petrolo originates for 80% from Sangiovese, and for smaller percentages from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.

The must ferments by macerating on the skins for 14 days in steel containers, while the fermentation takes place partly in French oak barriques, partly in large barrels and partly in vitrified cement tanks.

In the end it is aged for 15 months in barriques and tonneaux and for 6 months it remains in contact with the fine lees.. in short, a great rest that creates a great wine!!

At sight it shows a typical ruby ​​red colour. While the smell first feels intense notes of fruit, and then some floral and spicy nuances.

The taste is full-bodied and well balanced, with a hint of spices that gives a long persistence.
