Don Santo dessert wine Martinez

It is a dessert wine, or after a meal, quite sweet but not at all cloying.

It is a wine that comes from highly sugary musts, which give this bottle a very intense and aromatic aroma, capable of pairing very well with typical Sicilian desserts but not only that, also with various types of desserts.

In the glass it shines with a bright yellow color, while on the nose it fills with hints of candied fruit, citrus fruits and some notes of herbs such as mint, sage.

On the palate it is very full-bodied, sweet and soft, with some notes of fig and candied fruit, and with a very long and persistent finish.

GRAPE VARIETY: Blend of native white grapes

ALCOHOL CONTENT: 16% vol

SUGAR RESIDUE: 12.5%

VINIFICATION: Manual harvesting of well-ripe grapes with high sugar content and traditional pressing. The fermentation, when reaching 1.5% of alcohol, is carried out naturally and is stopped with the addition of alcohol.

AGING: in steel containers for 3 months

SHELF LIFE: For a couple of years if stored in a non-humid environment, away from sources of light and heat.

STORAGE METHOD: Once the bottle has been opened, if closed with its mushroom cap and kept in the fridge, it keeps well for a few months.

PAIRING: Sweet but not cloying dessert wine, excellent in combination with desserts based on cream, ricotta and fresh fruit.

SUGGESTED SERVING TEMPERATURE: 14°-16° C.
