Apollo Organic white wine D.O.C. Sicilia 2017 - Fausta Mansio
Fausta Manzio, which can be translated from the Latin "prosperous home" is the name that Olaf Consiglio has chosen for his company. Located in the beautiful Anapo valley in the Syracuse area, known in ancient times for the presence of papyrus and an area particularly suited for quality viticulture. It boasts 10 hectares of land, organically cultivated with olive groves and vineyards. The strength of the company is to have bet on the Moscato di Siracusa, a vine almost completely eradicated over the years, which at the beginning of the 90s was replanted and relaunched, so as to keep the traditions of those places intact and recover a precious DOC which is now the flagship of the company.
A tribute to Apollo, the Greek god of the sun, and to the magical land where this wine is grown, this pure Grillo is a warm and fruity wine, with a rich bouquet of summer fruit and floral nuances, elegant aromas of white mulberries, pears and ripe peaches. Persistent on the nose and on the palate, it has a good taste structure, fully reflecting all its Mediterranean character.
