Giuseppe Russo's company owns old sapling and row vines on the north side of Etna, cultivated with respect for tradition and following the dictates of organic farming. The characteristics common to the three wines produced are: spontaneous vinification with indigenous yeasts and aging in small oak barrels. From Nerello Mascalese grapes, with a small percentage of Nerello Cappuccio, Etna Rosso DOC "Feudo di mezzo" is a wine with a soft taste, silky tannins, excellent structure, a complex of great taste and persistence. Intense ruby red color, with hints of ripe fruit, cherry, morello cherry, aromatic herbs, balsamic essences and notes of vanilla and tobacco. Balanced, elegant and energetic on the palate, warm and enveloping tannins, savory and with a persistent finish. It is from unique territorial characteristics, such as climate and volcanic soil, that this extraordinary wine of excellent quality is created!
