Method of preparation
After carefully washing the lentils, put them on the stove in cold water in a pot, preferably earthenware. bring to the boil and continue cooking over low heat for about 20 minutes. In a pressure cooker, about 7 minutes are sufficient from the start of the whistle. Add salt towards the end of cooking.
Store in a cool, dry place away from heat sources.
