Enlightened example of how wine can be conceived between wisdom, wisdom and science. This is Podere Forte, a production company that more than any other has been able to represent the incredible vocation of the Castiglione d’Orcia terroir. Here the interpretation of the soil passes through two completely opposite roads, the famous Bordeaux blend Guardiavigna and the incredible versions of two Sangiovese crus, the Petrucci Melo, whose plant dominates the property from 541 meters above sea level and the Petrucci Amphitheater where you descend to an altitude altimetric 482 m asl, all obtained with cultivation techniques of rigid biodynamic mold
The "Petrucci Melo" of the Tuscan winery Podere Forte is a tasty and intriguing pure Sangiovese capable of satisfying even the most demanding palates and collectors. This label is made with carefully selected grapes and with the sole use of indigenous yeasts in the vinification phase, the refinement proceeds for at least 18 months in barrique and for a further 15 months in the bottle.
