Amaro Amara BARK with Sicilian Red Oranges IGP
Amaro Amara is a natural Sicilian bitter, which is produced through the infusion of the peels of "Sicilian Red Oranges PGI", grown avoiding the use of chemical substances.
However, in this Amara BARK there is an addition: orange bark.
In the summer, when the Azienda Rossa carries out pruning of the family's orange groves, the bark of the strongest trees is left aside. This intensely scented bark, rather than being disposed of, is used in the preparation of this Sicilian bitter.
It is used by leaving it to rest for about six months together with the wild herbs that grow on Etna, spring water and a small touch of sugar.
What comes out of this preparation is this Sicilian bitter with a complex, typical flavor and rich in vegetal notes.
It is a Sicilian distillate ideal both as an iced aperitif or as a digestive after a meal. Amaro Amara BARK with Sicilian Red Oranges PGI

We carefully select them and peel them by hand one by one
We infuse the peel with alcohol and wild herbs
