Fiasconaro, confectionery excellence of Castelbuono (PA), in the heart of the Madonie Park, celebrates Easter with a new creation that contains the unique flavors of its land: the colomba with strawberry and Sicilian cherry. An authentic jewel of haute patisserie with spring colors, which tells and enhances the characteristics of the best fruits of the Territory.

The fresh essence of mint blends with the fruity notes of semi-candied strawberries to give life to a special colomba, embellished with Castelbuono cherry jam and pink chocolate. A real sensory journey, which transports you to the Land of Sicily and which allows you to rediscover fascinating legends, just like that of the cherry tree sacred to Venus, Goddess of love, whose fruits in Sicily are considered lucky charms. Without forgetting that popular legend has it that all declarations of love made under a cherry tree are destined to last forever.

To create the new confectionery creation, Fiasconaro chose cherries from Liccia, a locality in the Madonie Park not far from Castelbuono. Pastry chefs Nicola and Mario have studied the delicious fruit right from the harvest, and then move on to the selection, transformation and, finally, to the definition of the recipe to best enhance its characteristics.
