Alta Mora Guardiola 2017 Etna Doc Red Wine - Cusumano

This red takes its name from the district in which it was born: the Contrada Guardiola.

A district that was born at the foot of Etna and which has kept Nerello Mascalese vines for generations, bringing with it the historical memory of a unique territory in the world.

Salealto, the King's wine - Cusumano

In this wine there is the story of King Ferdinand IV of Bourbon and of the Real Casina di Caccia di Ficuzza. Here, in the 1800s, the sovereign kept his own wine, produced with grapes from the vineyards located around the Ficuzza estate.

Davide and Antonio, the brothers who manage this winery, wanted to imagine what the wine drunk could be like in the times of the King, thus giving birth to Salealto, a "vin de terroir", obtained from Insolia, Grillo and Zibibbo grapes in equal parts, before vinified separately and then aged together.
