The grapes used to produce this Etna Bianco Superiore DOC are Carricante grapes, an indigenous vine of Etna, well known for its great ability to express the volcanic terroir on which it grows. A variety of white grape that gives the wine a lively acidity as well as a unique freshness and aromatic complexity.
The vinification of this wine is characterized by great attention to detail and respect for tradition. After a manual harvest in boxes, the grapes are softly pressed and the must is left to ferment in steel at a controlled temperature.
Afterwards, the wine is aged in oak barrels and in bottles before being marketed.
This Superiore white wine is a very versatile wine that can be paired with a wide variety of dishes. It is a very fresh and acidic wine, characteristics that make it ideal for accompanying fish and seafood dishes, but also salads, vegetables or cheeses.
It has a great aromatic complexity, which allows it to go well even with slightly more elaborate dishes such as fish main courses or risottos.
