Pietradolce's Etna Rosso is a very fine wine thanks to the fact that it is born on old pre-phyloxxera sapling vines, and is then aged in cask for 14 months.
This wine, with a bright ruby red color and an energetic and structured flavour, the bouquet is intense and complex, with nuances of myrtle, red fruits and aromatic herbs.
Vintage: 2018
Produced exclusively from 80-100 year old pre-phyloxxera Nerello Mascalese vines, grown in the area traditionally called "Barbagalli", at an altitude of 900 meters on the northern slope of Etna.
In the glass this wine has an intense ruby color, the bouquet is instead very intense, complex and articulated with notes of myrtle and red fruits.
Furthermore, it is perfect to combine with meats such as pork, or with cheeses, even better if aged.

This version of Etna Rosso Barbagalli is an extraordinarily elegant red wine, one of the best expressions of Nerello Mascalese.
It is left to mature for 20 months in oak barrels, and enjoys very balanced tones, between red fruit and sweet spices. On the palate it is very velvety, supported by fine tannins and an energetic freshness.
Furthermore, it is perfect to combine with strong flavors such as red meat, or a classic pasta with meat sauce.

Rosso del Conte is undoubtedly one of the historic wines of the great Tasca d'Almerita winery.
It was born on the Regaleali estate and is made from Nero d'Avola grapes accompanied by a percentage of Perricone.
It is an exuberant, vibrant and very energetic wine, especially when it is young, after which with refinement it becomes very velvety and with a good taste progression.
It has boasted many and varied awards over the years, since its birth in 1959, from Gold Medals at the World Competition in Brussels to Three Glasses from Gambero Rosso, to various Crowns of Vinibuoni d'Italia. This vintage in particular boasts very high ratings from James Suckling, Dottor Wine, I vini di Veronelli and The Winehunter.
