Vecchio Florio Marsala Superiore DOC - Cantine Florio
Vecchio Florio is a Marsala Superiore made from very ripe grapes
Cantina Florio has always been synonymous with great Marsalas. Vecchio Florio is a Marsala Superiore, the result of a blend of Grillo and Cataratto grapes which refine for 30 months in ancient oak barrels.
Its particularity comes from the harvesting of the grapes, which takes place at very advanced maturation, thus giving this Sicilian wine hints of raisins, bitter almonds, spices and vanilla, typical hints of Marsala.
