Florio wines are born in a magical corner in the heart of the Mediterranean, the "Fascia del Sole", an area in south-western Sicily characterized by a particular relationship between microclimate, vineyard and soil.
Here Florio, a contemporary artisan with an intense, unusual and precious soul, has been able to sublimate the uniqueness of a territory in wines capable of expressing a universe of unexpected sensations. An innovator by tradition, in almost two centuries Florio has gained a unique experience, reinterpreting the past with modern winemaking technologies to produce wines of great prestige, to be savored on several occasions: liqueur, marsala, passito and sparkling wines to discover, or rediscover, as an original aperitif, to accompany a dessert or to sip while meditating. Products deeply linked to the territories of origin, but presented in a modern guise.
Florio is a brand that can boast a unique and fascinating history, which had a family of great pioneers as its protagonist. But not only. Continuous search for quality through the choice of the best fruits, careful and innovative processing of the raw material, with the aim of creating products capable of evoking the terroir of origin, unique habitat for variety and suited to inimitable productions, and a production philosophy oriented towards excellence and attention to detail.
All this is Florio: for almost 200 years, quality for passion.
