Founded in 2014 in Contrada Timpanara, on the hills of San Cono at about 350 meters above sea level, between the Peloritani Mountains and the blue horizon of Capo Milazzo and the Aeolian Islands, Cantine Lipari embodies the perfect harmony between family tradition and modern winemaking innovation. The winery was born from the dream of reviving and enhancing the historic Mamertino wine region — an ancient and noble land of vineyards by the Tyrrhenian Sea.

A Vineyard Between Sea and Mountains

The estate covers about 3 hectares of limestone and clay soil, rich in marine fossils that bear witness to its ancient origins. Altitude, sun exposure and sea breezes create a unique microclimate ideal for growing native Sicilian grapes such as Nero d’Avola, Nocera, Nerello Cappuccio, Grillo, Catarratto and Inzolia.

Handcrafted Wines Aged in Amphora and Tonneaux

Every wine at Cantine Lipari is the result of manual work and respect for nature’s rhythm: hand harvesting, long macerations, spontaneous fermentations and aging in terracotta amphorae or tonneaux barrels.
