TUNA FILLETS IN OLIVE OIL - 300 GRAMS
These splendid tuna fillets are produced with extreme care by a small family business in Syracuse that has been processing tuna and other seafood for over eighty years, always putting the utmost care in the selection of the raw material and in the quality of the manufacturing process.
All tuna are cleaned by hand and without chemicals. Once cleaned and cooked in water and salt, the fish are filleted and placed by hand in glass jars without adding preservatives or flavor enhancers.
Cooking in water and salt, at "low temperature" allows the tuna to keep its nutritional properties intact, unlike what happens in industrial processing, where the fish are steamed at very high temperatures and for this reason the meat is frayed . Taste and admire the firmness of the meat of our tuna.
Recommendations for use:
Wonderful second course accompanied with seasonal vegetables or a nice tomato salad. Incredible in combination with our Sicilian eggplant caponata.
Often also used as an appetizer.
Once opened, keep refrigerated and use within 3 days.
Packaged in a 300 gram glass jar. Ideal quantity for a second course for 3-4 people.
