La Tombola Gift Box: Vigna di Gabri & Floramundi - Donnafugata

Donnafugata La Tombola Gift Box: Vigna di Gabri & Floramundi

Origin and crafting

Sicilian creativity takes shape in this extraordinary proposal signed Donnafugata Play & Sip. The project stems from a brilliant and innovative "creative recycling idea", a concept that blends fine winemaking with sustainability and shared fun. It is not just simple packaging, but a special box that transforms into a bingo game board amidst the colors of Donnafugata. The structure is crafted down to the smallest detail, offering a sturdy shaped cardboard box capable of holding two precious bottles while simultaneously becoming the lively center of home entertainment for family evenings.

Sensory profile

Hidden inside this magical chest are two true excellences of Sicilian winemaking, ready to delight the most demanding and curious palates. The first protagonist is the prestigious Vigna di Gabri 2023 Sicilia Doc, a refined wine that encapsulates all the light and elegance of the island's best vineyards, capable of offering an intense, enveloping, and extraordinarily harmonious bouquet. Accompanying it is the charming Floramundi 2024, Cerasuolo di Vittoria DOCG, a red wine with great personality that expresses lively notes and a pleasant floral soul, perfectly reflecting the terroir of Sicily. Two different yet beautifully complementary expressions, united to celebrate the excellence of taste.

Usage tips and pairings

This box is designed to turn every gathering into a true gourmet event. To best enhance the two included bottles, we suggest organizing a special dinner followed by the traditional and fun game. The Vigna di Gabri 2023 Sicilia Doc is exceptional when served chilled alongside refined seafood recipes, such as raw seafood, shrimp tartare, or a delicate Sicilian citrus risotto. The Floramundi 2024, on the other hand, is at its best when paired with rich first courses of the Mediterranean tradition, flavorful white meats, or a classic and tasty eggplant parmigiana. Once the table is cleared, all that's left is to open the box and distribute the 24 cards and a set of 90 numbers found inside to your guests to start the challenge.
